As of April 14, Crimean agrarians planted early spring grains throughout 86.5 thsd ha, or 100.8% of the plan, declared the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia. According to the polling by APK-Inform experts, agricultural producers were somewhat concerned about the condition of spring grain sprouts.
Agrarians noted that in some raions, spring crops were thinned out, and there was observed autumn leaf color due to significant decreasing of the average air temperatures in late March. Worsening of the weather conditions adversely affected the condition of agricultural crops, which can lead to lowering of the average yield of spring grains in the current year, added agrarians.
