“Farms occupy 73% of general structure of total agricultural production, but in terms of money unfortunately they form less than 8%. United communities will be rich and self-sufficient when the money is provided to them. Farming can help with that. But they need to find niches. A farmer will never be more competitive than an agroholding because the farmer does not have enough resources. They have to be successful in certain areas. First of all it refers to the organic agriculture which is now less than 1% of the total production of the country. There is a great demand in the world for such products and they cost a lot more. And the most important fact is that these large agricultural holdings will not do this. Ukraine has a great potential in this area and farmers have to take an advantage of it”. (techdrinks.info)
